Sculpted. Athletic. Masculine.
Male body contouring is not just about weight loss; it is about architecture. Dr. Miguel Bravo approaches the male physique with a distinct philosophy: creating angularity, definition, and the coveted "V-Taper."
Unlike standard liposuction that simply flattens the area, Dr. Bravo uses High-Definition (HD) Liposuction to respect and reveal the underlying muscle anatomy. This procedure is designed for men who are already relatively fit but struggle to see their muscle definition due to stubborn genetic fat layers.
The Technique: Etching & Grafting
Dr. Bravo’s signature approach involves two critical steps to transform the torso:
High-Definition Liposuction (Etching): Using advanced Ultrasound-Guided technology, Dr. Bravo selectively removes fat from the spaces between the muscles (linea alba and linea semilunaris). This "etches" the appearance of a six-pack and serratus muscles, creating a shredded, gym-fit look.
Muscle Enhancement (Fat Grafting): In select cases, the harvested fat is not discarded. Instead, it is purified and grafted into specific muscle groups—specifically the Pectorals (Chest), Deltoids (Shoulders), and Rectus Abdominis. This adds natural volume, making the muscles look larger and more developed.
Gynecomastia & Chest Sculpting
A key component of male contouring is the chest. Dr. Bravo treats Gynecomastia (enlarged male breasts) by combining two methods:
Gland Excision: Removing the firm glandular tissue through a tiny, invisible incision on the areola.
Chest Flattening: aggressive liposuction to blend the chest into the armpit, ensuring a square, masculine pectoral shape rather than a round one.
Safety & Technology
To safely inject fat and sculpt near the muscle, Dr. Bravo utilizes Ultrasound Guidance. This allows him to visualize the needle tip in real-time, ensuring that fat is placed safely (preventing intramuscular injection risks) while maximizing the aesthetic result.
Recovery Expectations
Downtime: Most patients return to desk work in 7–10 days.
Compression: You will wear a specialized compression vest for 4–6 weeks to help the skin adhere to the new "etched" muscle contours.
Gym: Light cardio can resume in 3 weeks; heavy lifting (chest/abs) in 6 weeks.
