Regenerative Body Contouring
Aging and weight fluctuations don't just cause volume loss; they thin the skin itself. Biostimulators (such as Sculptra®, Lanluma®, or Radiesse®) represent a shift from "correcting" to "regenerating."
Unlike Hyaluronic Acid fillers which are gels that sit in the tissue, Biostimulators are active micro-particles. When injected, they stimulate a powerful biological response, causing your body to build a structural framework of new Type 1 Collagen around them.
Primary Benefits
Dr. Bravo uses Biostimulators for three specific goals:
1. The "Non-Surgical" Butt Lift For patients who want a firmer, rounder shape but don't want surgery, Biostimulators offer a great solution.
Note: The volume increase is subtle and gradual (appearing over 3–4 months), making it perfect for patients who want their enhancement to remain a secret.
2. Correcting Hip Dips Biostimulators provide a very firm, structural correction for the depressions on the sides of the hips, smoothing the transition from waist to thigh.
3. Cellulite & Skin Quality This is where Biostimulators shine. By thickening the dermis (the skin layer), they reduce the visibility of cellulite dimples and tighten "crepey" skin on the abdomen, knees, and arms.
Biostimulators vs. HA Fillers
HA Fillers (e.g., HYAcorp): Immediate volume, softer feel, lasts 12–18 months. Best for "I want results now."
Biostimulators (e.g., Sculptra/Lanluma): Gradual volume (peaks at 3 months), firmer feel, lasts 2+ years. Best for "I want long-term structure and skin improvement."
